Santa touring the streets of Crawley raises a fortune for charity
GENEROUS residents across the town have helped raise £4,471 for charity after Santa paid a visit to a number of streets in the run up to Christmas.
Crawley Rotary Club, which organises a collection every year by sending Father Christmas onto Crawley streets in his sleigh, announced the final figure for collections last Tuesday.
The cash will be used to support worthy causes, and donations have already been provided to Age UK, the St Vincent de Paul Society and St Catherine's Hospice.
