POLICE are for looking for witnesses after a pregnant woman walking with her children was hit by a car in Ifield. A spokesman for Sussex Police said they received reports that the driver of a small white car failed to stop after it struck the woman on the wrist at around 5pm on Saturday (December 19) in Rusper Road, close to its junction with Trist Way. The woman was not thought to have been seriously injured. Witnesses have been asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police or call 101.
