Police appeal for witnesses after pregnant woman is hit by car in...
POLICE are for looking for witnesses after a pregnant woman walking with her children was hit by a car in Ifield.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said they received reports that the driver of a small white car failed to stop after it struck the woman on the wrist at around 5pm on Saturday (December 19) in Rusper Road, close to its junction with Trist Way.
The woman was not thought to have been seriously injured.
Witnesses have been asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police or call 101.

FIREFIGHTERS have come to the rescue of a terrified little boy whose arm turned blue after he got his hand stuck in a door.
A fire crew were called to Brickyard Lane in Crawley Down at about 8.30am last Friday after the two-year old boy became stuck with his hand in the crack between the door and the door frame.
The frightened youngster had managed to get his hand stuck while the door was open and the gap between the door and the door frame was at its widest.

POLICE are now investigating a report of a handbag being stolen from a bar in Three Bridges.
Police were called on Saturday, December 12, after a bag was taken from someone while they were in Lb1, on Gales Drive.
There had been reports on social media of three handbags being stolen in the bar last Friday night into Saturday morning but a Sussex Police spokeswoman said they have only received a call of one theft.
