The strangest crime of the week: Thief breaks into car to steal...
A THIEF has bizarrely stolen a bag of rubbish from a car after breaking its rear window to gain entry.
The crime happened in Langley Lane, in Ifield, at some point last Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
Nothing else is believed to have been stolen from the vehicle and police are investigating the crime.

A TOWN CENTRE kebab shop has been heaped with praise after its staff gave a homeless man a large kebab - for only 30p.
The man had gone to Troy Kebab House, on the High Street, last night (Monday), with only a handful of coppers.

New exit to be created at Asda in Crawley town centre
SHOPPERS at Asda will soon be able to leave the supermarket car park directly onto Ifield Road after plans to create a new exit were approved.
Congestion is an issue where drivers currently leave the car park onto Pegler Way because traffic lights approaching the Ifield Road roundabout can cause vehicles to back up.

Man airlifted to London hospital after falling 30 feet in Crawley...
A MAN has been airlifted to a London hospital after falling 30 feet in Crawley town centre.
The man, in his twenties, fell from a height near The Broadway at around 5.10pm on Monday.
The air ambulance, paramedics and police were sent to the scene.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a man aged around 20 who had reportedly fallen approximately 25 to 30 feet."
