A MAN has been given a 12-month conditional discharge after admitting three charges of sexual assault onboard an easyJet flight to Gatwick.Arni Helgason, 50, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to three charges of sexual assault on a female, committed on the flight from Keflavik, the main airport in Iceland, on January 26.Helgason, who appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on March 25, was also ordered to pay £100 compensation for each offence and £85 costs.

A MAN whose body was found in Tilgate Park last week has been identified by police. At 6.43am last Wednesday, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Sussex Police were called to Tilgate Park after a dog walker found the body close to the entrance from Forestfield, in Furnace Green. Firefighters from Crawley Fire Station were also called, at 7.12am, to assist police. The man has now been identified as 29-year-old Aiden Nevard Knight of Pelham Place, Broadfield. GATWICK bosses expect more than 40 million passengers to use the airport next year after a record-breaking March. A total of 2.96 million passengers travelled through Gatwick Airport last month, a 9.2 per cent increase on 2014, making it the busiest March the airport has ever had in its 57-year history.
