A MAN will face trial after denying that he harassed another person. Andre Fernandes, 26, from East Park, Southgate, has denied using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour that caused harassment, alarm or distress to Haylla Bossoni Da Silva on October 13. He denied the offence at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 11. Fernandes has been released on conditional bail to appear for trial at Horsham Magistrates' Court on April 24.

A HYBRID car trailing a boat caught fire at Pease Pottage services on Friday night.A fire engine was sent to the service area on Brighton Road at about 9pm after the engine compartment of the dual fuel four wheel drive vehicle caught light.
