A MAN has appeared in court accused of raping a woman in Broadfield. Rafal Rybianski appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court last Wednesday (February 25) charged with rape. The 26-year-old is accused of carrying out the attack on April 23 last year. Rybianski, who required a Polish translator throughout the hearing, did not enter a plea. POLICE and the fire service were called out to Rusper yesterday (Monday) afternoon when a van crashed.A crew of firefighters was called as a precaution but nobody was trapped in the vehicle when they arrived.The collision occurred on Capel Road at about 4.30pm.
