Teenager cleared of stealing safe from Crawley doctors' surgery
A TEENAGER accused of stealing a safe containing cash and medical IDs from a doctors' surgery, has had the case against him dropped.
The 17-year-old, from West Green, who cannot be named due to his age, appeared at Horsham Magistrates' Court for what was due to be a trial earlier this month.
He had previously pleaded not guilty to stealing a safe containing £500, medical IDs, keys, stamps and bank cards from Cross Keys House.

Man strips to his underwear and walks along Crawley High Street
POLICE were called after a man stripped to his underwear this morning (Friday) and walked along Crawley High Street.
The male reportedly began taking off his clothes outside Morrisons and walked up the High Street towards Barclays Bank.

Tiny town centre building set to be turned into 3 flats
NEW plans to convert a building which crosses over the Broad Walk, into three homes, have been submitted.
A prior approval application for the change of use of 21-28 Broad Walk has been submitted to Crawley Borough Council.
The proposal is to create a one-bedroom flat and two studio flats. Windows would be inserted into the structure to convert it into homes.

A WOMAN has been sentenced after being found guilty of an attack in a town centre park.
Anjum Hussain assaulted Tenaya Astridge in Memorial Gardens on August 8 last year.

PLANS to build two flats in Harewood Close, in Three Bridges, have been refused by the council.
LERFM Limited put forward the application to Crawley Borough Council to build a two-storey building containing two two-bedroom flats. The site was last used as a yard by the owners of the home at 6 Harewood Close.

A CATHOLIC priest who lives in Pease Pottage has been convicted for the sexual abuse of a child more than 30 years ago.

A MAN has admitted driving a car on Pegler Way while over the drink-drive limit.
After being pulled over by police on January 24, Yanick Alexis, 28, gave a reading of 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Alexis, from Mulberry Road, in Langley Green, admitted the offence at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 11.
