BURGLARS have struck at two homes in Pound Hill over the last week. A burglar smashed a rear patio door to gain entry to a property on Grattons Drive. They stole jewellery, although it is not clear exactly when the crime took place, although it is known it was at some point over the last week. A NEW sporting craze that combines football and golf is coming to a golf course in Crawley. Footgolf involves competitors booting a football around a golf course with the aim of sinking it in an oversized hole in as few kicks as possible. The sport is understood to be coming to Tilgate Forest Golf Centre, in Tilgate Park, next month. Footgolfers can already play the game over 18 holes at Burstow Golf Club, in Antlands Lane, Shipley Bridge.

A MAN will face trial after denying that he attacked another man at The Jubilee Oak pub on Crawley High Street. Tony Kaikeh, 38, has been accused of assaulting Robert Aram on January 24.
