SEVERE delays on the M25 this morning are being caused by a broken down horse box.The vehicle pulling the horse box is stuck on the anticlockwise carriageway close to Junction 6 at Godstone.One lane of the motorway has been closed while emergency services attempt to retrieve the vehicle.Meanwhile on the trains there are several cancellations and delays across the Southern network due to signalling problems and faults with an earlier train. FIREFIGHTERS were dispatched to a blaze in a chimney at a house in Three Bridges yesterday evening (Thursday). One fire engine was sent to the home on Hazelwick Road at 5.54pm, where on arrival firefighters found that the house's occupier had put out the blaze with buckets of water. It had started accidentally. Firefighters gave fire safety advice to the occupier and were away from the scene at 6pm. A MAN has been cleared by a jury of raping a woman in Pound Hill. Jason Jelnicki, 29, appeared at Lewes Crown Court earlier this month to face trial. Mr Jelnicki had been accused of raping a woman in Javelin Court, in Pound Hill, between June 22 and 24 in 2013. A jury found Mr Jelnicki, from Davidson Road, in Croydon, not guilty on Monday of last week (February 16).
