FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car fire in Bewbush just after midnight this morning (Wednesday).One fire engine was sent to Glanville Walk at about 12.18am following an emergency call. It is not known whether the fire was deliberate or accidental.

More snow to fall in Crawley tomorrow Met Office warns
MORE snow will fall in Crawley tomorrow (Thursday), the Met Office has warned in its latest weather forecast for the town.
Light snow is expected at about 10am but it doesn't look like lasting for long as by 11am it is predicted that it will be replaced by rain.
Sleet is then forecast for 4pm as the day throws up almost every imaginable type of weather.
Forecasters are clearly not 100 per cent certain exactly where snow will fall tomorrow.

BREAKING NEWS: Human bones found in Pease Pottage confirmed to...
THE human bones found by a fishing lake off Parish Lane, in Pease Pottage, last Monday (January 26) have now been confirmed as those of missing Crawley man Jean Leveque.
The 42-year-old, from Hawth Close, Southgate, was reported missing by his family in May last year.
The bones, which are an upper left hip bone and a lower left leg bone, have been identified as a result of analysis by a forensic archaeologist and by DNA comparison.

Adam Holgate has been ordered to pay £11,100 in compensation for breaking the jaw of a Horley Town youth manager at the under-17s football match.
Holgate, from Waterfield Green, Tadworth, Surrey, admitted punching coach Antonio Musto at a match between Horley Town and Epsom and Ewell on January 13, 2013.

PLANS to refurbish the Co-op store on Ifield Parade have been submitted to the council.
The Co-operative Group has applied to Crawley Borough Council to change the shop front of its store in Ifeld.
The plan involves spraying the front of the shop a new colour.
