A MAN has denied assaulting a police officer at his home address in Broadfield.Sergio Peyamdane pleaded not guilty to assaulting PC Alistair Brodie at the defendant's home address in Fulham Close on January 1.Peyamdane appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on January 19.He denied the offence and another charge of failing to surrender to court bail on January 14.The 23-year-old is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 11 for a case management hearing.

A WOMAN was assessed by paramedics at the scene of a collision involving two cars yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.The crash occurred at about 3.25pm on Turners Hill Road, Pound Hill.
