A MOTHER was punched in the face while at home with her children after answering a knock at her door.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault at a block of flats in Woodfield Road Saturday, January 11.
At about 9pm the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was at home in her flat with her children when she heard a knock at her door.
She answered the door to a man who punched her in the face. She fell against the door but was able to lock the door and call the police.
