RAIN WARNING: Severe weather predicted for Crawley and South-East
THE Met Office has issued a yellow alert for rain for tomorrow (Sunday, January 26) from 7am to 4pm.

Man cleared of alleged sexual assault on bus to Crawley
A man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a bus to Crawley has been acquitted of the charge in court.
Kevin Spall, 54, from Livingstone Road in Caterham, Surrey went on trial at Redhill Magistrates' Court on January 15.
The charge related to an alleged incident involving a 17-year-old girl on a bus between Caterham and Crawley on August 23.
Magistrates found him not guilty.

Tree falls onto home in Furnace Green
FIREFIGHTERS spent two hours safely removing a tree which was blown down in strong winds and came to rest on a home in Furnace Green.
A fire engine was sent to Rosamund Road at about 5.10pm today (Saturday) before a Technical Rescue Unit was also despatched.
It took approximately two hours for the crews to remove the tree, which was resting on the guttering of a single storey extension to a home.

ARMED police have reportedly fired shots at a car in Manor Royal.
Eye witnesses claim shots were fired at tyres after a car chase, although police are yet to confirm details.
A Sussex Police spokesman said, although it happened in Crawley, Surrey Police was the force involved.

Heavy delays on M23 near Gatwick and minor delays on M25
THERE are severe delays on the M23 northbound near Gatwick and Crawley this morning due to two separate incidents.
Two lanes have been closed on the carriageway at Junction 9 while a second incident northbound between Junction 11 and 10A is likely to cause further significant delays.
The M25 is also experiencing some minor delays clockwise between Junction 6 and 7 after an earlier breakdown, although all lanes are now reopen.

POLICE are investigating an arson attack at a coach depot in Three Bridges where two vehicles were set on fire.
Crawley Fire Station was called to Crawley Luxury Coaches, in Stephenson Way, at 9.30pm on Friday (January 24) to reports of a coach on fire.
