TV star spends the afternoon hanging out in Maidenbower pub
A STAR from a popular TV show has been hanging out in Crawley this afternoon (Sunday). Daniel Wakeford, who stars in the hit Channel 4 dating show The Undateables, spent this afternoon in Maidenbower pub Frogshole Farm with his family.Although he now lives in Brighton it has emerged that the 27-year-old is actually from Crawley, and grew up in Ifield. It's snowing (just about) and there could be more on the way
LIGHT snow has being falling over parts of Crawley tonight - and more could be on the way.
The wintry shower doesn't look likely to cause any disruption but more could fall tomorrow (Monday), the Met Office has warned.

Tribute to talented linguist who was teacher at Crawley College...
THE family of a former language teacher at Crawley College who was also a governor at two Tilgate schools have paid tribute to the gifted linguist after she died at the age of 82.
Elisabeth Calder, who was chairman of governors at the now closed Robert May First and Middle schools for 11 years, passed away last month.

Southgate woman who damaged windscreen wiper in Ifield fined...
A woman has been fined £220 for damaging the windscreen wiper of a man's car.Jennifer Findlay, from Southgate Drive, Southgate, was given the fine after pleading guilty to the offence at Crawley Magistrates' Court on January 27.The 34-year-old damaged a company car belonging to David Kelly on January 8, on Peverel Road, in Ifield.Findlay was also ordered to pay costs of £40 to the Crown Prosecution Service, as well as a £20 victim surcharge.

A teenager has denied stealing three baby grows from Primark in Crawley.On October 18 Leanne Wreford is alleged to have stolen the clothing, worth £24, from the store in County Mall.The 19-year-old, from Beresford Road in Dorking, pleaded not guilty at Crawley Magistrates' Court on January 14.The case was adjourned ahead of a trial at Horsham Magistrates' Court on February 25.Wreford is also facing a charge of failing to appear in court on January 6.
