THE Met Office has issued an updated weather forecast - and is warning of a heavy snow shower in Crawley this evening.
At about 6pm the town is expected to see its first snowfall of the winter.
The temperature is also set to plunge, and while it will actually be 1 degree this evening it will feel like minus 5 because of the windchill factor.
The heavy snow shower is not expected to last long but more snow showers are expected tomorrow and on Sunday.

SNOW has finally fallen in Crawley for the first time this winter - and it has caused a fair bit of excitement on Twitter.

A MAN from Ifield has been charged with supplying crack cocaine.Abrazak Ghalghal appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on January 14 charged with two counts of supplying a class A drug. M23 blocked after vehicle catches fire
A LANE on the M23 has been blocked after a vehicle caught fire on the motorway and smoke started billowing across both carriageways.The vehicle was travelling on the northbound carriageway when the fire started just after 8am this morning (Friday, January 30).The vehicle is reported to be on the inside lane between Junction 10 (Crawley) and Junction 9 (Gatwick). Town centre bank to bring in longer opening hours on Saturdays
THE TSB bank in Queens Square is going to double its Saturday opening hours from next month.The bank will change its hours to 10am to 4pm on Saturdays from February 9.On Saturdays the bank is currently open from 9am until noon.Branch manager Leonora Howell said: "We understand our customers cannot always get to their local TSB branch during the week."So we feel if we open longer on a Saturday we are giving more options of when they can do their banking."

More snow forecast for Crawley tomorrow
AFTER yesterday's first flurry of snow of the winter sent parts of the town into a state of meltdown, be warned - as more is to come tomorrow.
Fortunately, with it being a Saturday, there shouldn't be gridlock on the streets this time as a result.
And the Met Office is predicting that light snow will fall at 5am and 6am, so there may well be a dusting of snow on the lawn when you wake up, although it isn't likely to be a winter wonderland.
