A "BIG explosion" rocked homes in Crawley last night, when oil leaked out of the casing of an electrical sub-station, causing the blast.
Twitter users have reported hearing a "loud bang" in Stonefield Close, Southgate.
At about 7.45pm last night two fire engines from Crawley Fire Station were sent to the scene, with four homes having to be evacuated.
No damage was caused to any properties and there were no injuries.
