POLICE made a number of dawn raids across Crawley yesterday morning (Tuesday) after hundreds of thousands of pounds of duty-free items were stolen from Gatwick Airport.
A total of 15 people have been arrested, including seven men from Crawley, and 11 of those arrested work for airport-catering provider Gate Gourmet.
The raids related to "large-scale thefts" of items waiting to be loaded onto planes at the airport.
