AN arsonist started a fire in Goffs Park at the weekend which took firefighters 20 minutes to extinguish.
A crew from Horsham Fire Station was called to Goffs Park, at the entrance off Old Horsham Road, at 3.35pm on Sunday (October 26).
A fire had been started in a wooded area of the park and abandoned.
The firefighters put out the flames using buckets of water by 3.58pm.
The incident is being treated by the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service as a deliberate ignition arson attack.
