FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished a large hedge fire sparked by an out of control firework in Pound Hill.
A crew from Crawley Fire Station was called to Orde Close at 7.45pm on Saturday (October 25).
About 10 metres of hedgerow had been set alight due to a stray firework.
The firefighters used two hoses to put out the flames by 8.10pm.
