CANDIDATES for the Southgate by-election on October 9 have been confirmed.Crawley's only Ukip councillor Karl Williamson stood down on August 29. Those contesting the seat to replace him are Simon Darroch for Ukip, Arshad Khan for the Justice Party, Michael Pickett for Labour and Jan Tarrant for the Conservatives.
