POLICE have confirmed that a man hit by a train in Crawley this morning has been killed.
The man was hit by the train at the Horsham Road level crossing, between Crawley and Ifield stations.
There are no suspicious circumstances and police are investigating reports that a man was seen jumping over the level crossing barrier, while the train was approaching.
