A PERSON has been hit by a train between Ifield and Crawley stations.
Southern Rail is reporting that the incident occurred this morning just before 10am.
A team from Network Rail are on route as are the British Transport Police and emergency services are at the scene.
Traffic at the Horsham Road level crossing close to Goffs Park has been stopped while the emergency services carry out their work.
A train has been stopped at the crossing blocking traffic.
