THE area of fake grass surrounding the bandstand in Queens Square will be put to good use tomorrow (Saturday).
Members of the public have been invited to try playing bowls there for free.
Games will be taking place between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
Last weekend a crazy golf course was set up in the town centre square, while an urban beach has also been in place this summer.
It is all part of the council's efforts to give visitors more reasons to spend time in Queens Square.
