CRAWLEY'S only UKIP councillor has resigned with immediate effect.
Karl Williamson has today (Friday, August 29) handed in his notice at the Town Hall and stood down from his position as a borough councillor.
The Southgate councillor was elected in 2011 as a Conservative candidate but he defected to join UKIP last year.
