A WOMAN seen wandering around Crawley town centre in a hospital gown sparked a police search.
Sussex Police were called to the town centre yesterday evening (Thursday) after receiving reports a woman had left Crawley railway station wearing a hospital gown and with a cannula in her arm.
Officers carried out a search of the area, including inside and outside of County Mall, concerned for the hospital patient's well being.
She was located in a department store and taken to safety.
