A KNIFE was found close to where Joao Esteves was discovered lying injured in a Three Bridges alleyway, Daniel Palmer's murder trial heard yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
Earlier in the trial jurors had heard that Palmer had told best friend Roy Hancock that a man had come at him with a knife.
However, the prosecution argue that even if Mr Esteves caused or threatened violence that Palmer's reaction was "out of all proportion".
