POLICE were called to two pubs last week due to a break-in and an attempted break-in.
Officers were called to The White Knight, in Worth Road, Pound Hill, last Tuesday.
The pub had been broken into and an unknown amount of money from the till stolen overnight on Monday.
On the Tuesday officers were also called to The Half Moon pub, in Brighton Road, Southgate.
The pub is currently closed while undergoing a refurbishment and an alarm has been set off at about 7.30pm.
