THE Bomb Squad has been called in this afternoon after a grenade was found while a pond was being excavated.
The device was found close to the Kilnwood Vale housing development, to the west of Bewbush.
Staff working for Travis Perkins at the Holmbush Potteries Industrial Estate, off the A264 (Crawley Road) made the call for emergency assistance.
A cordon was set up by police after they were called in at 1.23pm.
