POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man died three week after he was hit by a car in Crawley.
Mohamed Shamim, of Baker Close, in Southgate, sadly died in the East Surrey Hospital last Thursday (June 5).
Mr Shamim, 80, was hit by a white Dacia Sandero car at the junction of the A23 London Road and Martyrs Avenue, in Langley, after leaving the new Langley Green Mosque just before 6pm on Monday (18 May).
