FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a man trapped in a car following a Crawley town car crash.
A crew from Crawley Fire Station were called to Station Way at 5.05pm on Sunday (June 8) to reports of a two-car collision.
Firefighters, supported by a heavy rescue tender machines, cut a man out from one of the cars using hydraulic rescue equipment. He was then taken to hospital for treatment by ambulance.
The scene was made safe and road reopened by 5.25pm.
