THREE fire engines were sent to deal with a van fire on the M23 yesterday (Monday).
The vehicle had caught light on the northbound carriageway between Junction 11 and 10a at about 2.50pm. Two crews from Crawley and one from East Grinstead fire stations attended to tackle the fire and make the area safe between Pease Pottage services and the Maidenbower turn-off.
