GATWICK Airport has unveiled new expansion plans - arguing more than 120,000 jobs will be created and £40 billion extra economic benefit than if Heathrow is chosen.
The airport will today (Wednesday) submit to the Airports Commission a 3,200 page evidence report claiming Gatwick is the obvious choice to build a new runway.
The report argues a second runway at Gatwick will allow 10 million more passengers to fly each year to more destinations than a third at Heathrow.
