A CYCLIST in training for the London to Brighton Bike Ride fractured his elbow and suffered severe bruising after he was hit by a car on the A264 in Copthorne last night (Wednesday) and knocked off his bike.
The car stopped briefly, but then drove off.
The 23-year-old man from Horley was cycling with his brother shortly before 6.25pm when he was clipped by the black Peugeot's wing mirror at The Duke's Head roundabout in Copthorne Common Road.
