AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was cut free by firefighters after his car left the road and hit a lamppost on Saturday (April 5).
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries after his red Ford Fiesta left the A264 in Broadfield.
It hit a lamppost at the roundabout junction with Tollgate Hill at 4.18pm.
Firefighters were called at 4.30pm and went to the scene in one fire engine from Crawley.
A fire engine from Horsham and heavy rescue vehicle from Worthing were also sent.
