CRAWLEY residents are being urged to make sure they are prepared for their homes being flooded.
A council Incident Liaison Officer (ILO) is in the Stafford Bridge area of Ifield Green and is knocking on the doors of surrounding properties in Ifield and Langley Green.
The officers are ensuring people are prepared for the possibility of flood water entering their homes by moving items upstairs where possible and ensuring elderly people are aware of the risks.
