NEIGHBOURS living close to the scene of this afternoon's tragic explosion in Banks Road, Pound Hill have told of their shock at the incident.
A woman in her 50s died at the scene in what early indications show could have been an explosion caused by either a boiler or a gas canister.
The emergency services remain at the scene but the incident is not believed to have been suspicious.
It is thought a son of the woman was also in the house at the time but that he escaped uninjured.
