THE Conservative group at Crawley Borough Council has selected its new leader.
Dr Howard Bloom, borough councillor for Southgate, has been appointed after receiving the support of his colleagues at a behind-closed-doors meeting this evening.
His appointment paves the way for him to become the new leader of Crawley Borough Council. All councillors will have the opportunity to vote on whether to approve his succession at a public meeting on September 26.
