A flight had to divert to Gatwick Airport last night after it was hit by lightning on its way to Morocco.
Thomson Airways flight TOM732 left Manchester around 9pm to travel to Agadir but was struck once in the air. As a safety precaution the decision was taken to land at Gatwick.
