THIS video shows thick, black oil pouring down a secluded track road in Pound Hill and into a drain which leads into the Gatwick Stream. The Environment Agency is reviewing the footage and pictures taken by Caren and Sean Baker, who were fishing at Ballast Hole Lake, whihch is accessed just off Crawley Avenue, yesterday (Thursday). When they left to go home they discovered the oil had been dumped at the top of the road, and was running down to the drain.

AT least one person has been treated for injuries after two cars collided in Northgate this afternoon. All three emergency services were called to the scene in Woolborough Road, Northgate, at about 1.40pm.
