Man given restraining order for assaulting woman in Gossops Green
A MAN has been ordered to carry out unpaid work and given a restraining order after being found guilty of assaulting a woman.
Abdul Ali, 43, had denied attacking Linda Amoordon-Ali at an address in Colne Walk, Gossops Green, last October, but was found guilty on February 16.
Ali was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 20.

A POUND Hill man has been convicted of driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Luke Spiteri, 24, from Banks Road, was caught unlawfully driving a silver Volkswagen Golf in Washington Road, Bewbush, on January 9.
He admitted the charge at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 17.

Northgate man Shaun Byrne denies threatening Luke Wise
A MAN has denied using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another man.
Shaun Byrne, 23, from Shaws Road, Northgate, is accused of threatening Luke Wise in Ifield Drive, Ifield, on February 3.
Byrne denied the offence at Crawley Magistrates' Court on February 18.
