A POLICE officer has been charged with theft at a Tesco store in Crawley.
PC Roger Toms, 41, was charged by Sussex Police and bailed to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 9 May.
The Surrey Police officer, based in Reigate, was charged by Sussex Police in relation to an incident at the supermarket on April 16.
He has been suspended from duty while the case goes through the court process.
