A THIEF who struck in Chatfields, Gossops Green appears to have decided that stealing something was better than stealing nothing.
They broke into a shed at some point between 8.30pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday but could find nothing of interest.
So they turned their attention to the garden pond - and stole the pond filter system.
Perhaps we should be grateful they didn't dive in and try and pinch a goldfish.
