Public back cars being banned from Crawley High Street

A PROPOSAL to prevent parking in part of the High Street in the evening is supported by most residents and businesses.Crawley Borough Council held a public consultation to gather opinions on its plan for a restricted parking zone in the High Street from the entrance of Pegler Way to just north of its junction with Cross Keys.Of the 117 people who responded, 66 per cent were in favour of the proposed changes.Drivers can currently park in the pedestrianised area of the street when visiting...
