Traffic was gridlocked in Crawley town centre this evening, following reports of a collision involving a teenage cyclist.
Sussex Police confirmed a 12-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Motorists reported very slow traffic in Southgate Avenue, close to the town's railway station and County Mall shopping centre.
Emergency services are said to be on the scene and we have contacted Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance service for more details.
