A serious fire which broke out on the train tracks outside Gatwick Airport station is set to cause major travel disruption until the rest of the day. Trains ground to a halt as the blaze ignited near the station about 7am this morning.
Multiple services have suffered major delays and cancellations as a result of the fire, which occurred on the southbound third line just outside the station.
