AN elderly man has been rushed to hospital suffering from chest pains after his car collided with a lorry along Turners Hill Road, between Turners Hill and East Grinstead.
The crash happened shortly after 12.30pm at the Vowels Lane junction.
Although the man's injuries are not thought to be serious, he has been described by police as being in a state of shock and an ambulance was called to the scene.
He has been taken to Royal Sussex Hospital, in Brighton.
