THEY were Indiana Jones's worst fear and in the last two years snake bites have landed a handful of people in East Surrey Hospital.
A Freedom of Information request has revealed that since May 2011 seven people have been admitted to East Surrey Hospital with snake bites, two of which were from venomous adders.
In 2011/12 four people were bitten, while in 2012/13 three people were, with one patient suffering a gash to their hand.
