AN EasyJet plane headed for Alicante from Southend has had to make an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport after a medical emergency on board.
Flight EZY7415 took off from Southend, in Essex, at 7am this morning (December 31) when it was diverted to Gatwick due to a medical emergency.
It is unclear at present what the medical emergency was.
The delayed plane is expected to take off again at 8.22am arriving in Alicante just over an hour late.
