A VAN driver who a mum fears was looking to kidnap her 10-year-old daughter may have shouted at the girl as she walked home, police have confirmed.
Sussex Police had said the man had not approached or talked to the girl as she walked along Station Road, in Crawley Down, towards her home on Monday evening having been playing with friends at a local playground.
However, the force has today said the man may have shouted "stop" before the girl ran home.
