THE town's first "all-through" school – providing both primary and secondary education – is set to open in September 2014.
Crawley Free School will cater for students from the age of four right through to 16 and once full there will be more than 1,000 pupils on site.
The school is a partnership between two educational organisations, Place Group and Mosaica Education, which runs the Aurora Academies Trust, which the new Crawley school will be a part of.
